Can galvanized stove pipe be painted?
Before painting a galvanized chimney, there are two things to keep in mind. Galvanization is the first type of coating that can be applied to steel. To ensure that the coating is not damaged, it must be cleaned thoroughly.
Can you paint a chimney flue?
Before installing the flue pipe on the stove, you should not paint it. Due to the paint’s final curing process occurring at higher temperatures, this is a common phenomenon. If you paint it before it’s installed, you’re going to scratch and mark it because it’s easy to scratch until then.
Does stove pipe have to be black?
In no way, shape, or form! To the point where it penetrates the ceiling or wall, black pipe is not a chimney pipe.
How do you decorate a stove pipe?
The pipe should be painted in a color that contrasts with the wall behind the stove, using high-temperature stove paint. For the stovepipe, you can match the color of your room’s decor or choose a completely different color. However, if you want, it will draw attention to the pipe.
Will galvanized chimney pipe rust?

Can you paint pellet stove vent pipe?
