Can you put roller skate wheels on a skateboard?

You should definitely put your wheels on a skateboard. You’d have a much easier time going up hills and you could even go downstairs if they’re not too steep. However, be careful because I broke my arm once while trying to go down some steps on roller skates. Oh yeah, good luck finding the right size of wheels for your skateboard though.

How to find the right size of wheels to put on a skateboard

It wouldn’t be that hard to find the right size. You can look on eBay for used roller skate wheels or you can go to a thrift store and buy some there. Then, just measure your skateboard and pick out something in the same size range.

Putting skates on a skateboard would make it unstable

Putting roller skate wheels on a regular skateboard would make it very unstable due to the fact that most skates are made with bearings meant to support the weight from multiple directions (such as walking). However, if you’re only interested in going down hills then this might work well enough for you. However, I don’t recommend trying any tricks with them either because they could come off at any time and send you flying.

In conclusion, you should definitely put your wheels on a skateboard. You’d have a much easier time going up hills and you could even go downstairs if they’re not too steep. However, be careful because I broke my arm once while trying to go down some steps on roller skates.
