Can you use other products in a Bissell?

Is it possible to use cleaning products other than BISSELL’s? It is not recommended that you use any other cleaning products in our carpet washers than those that are specifically recommended by BISSELL. Our formulas contain more active ingredients, are dye-free, and are specifically created for use in your BISSELL products.
