Can You Wear A Hoodie Skydiving?

Make sure you’re comfortable and that your movements are not restricted, which is much easier to achieve in tracksuit bottoms/sportswear than it is in skinny jeans or other similar clothing styles. A T-shirt and sweatshirt, as well as tracksuit bottoms, are usually sufficient for tandem skydiving in the summer, according to most participants. Although t-shirts and shorts are usual attire, don’t forget to bring one of our jumpsuits along with you as a backup option. There is no hard and fast rule about what the temperature will be like at any particular time of year, but if you’re jumping in the middle of winter, the temperature at jump altitude might be as low as -20 degrees Celsius at times.

As a result, you may wish to wear an additional base layer, but this is entirely up to you; everyone is different, and what one person considers “cold” may be considered “shorts weather” by another. It is important to use a few thin layers rather than one or two heavy layers when layering to achieve the best results. You’ll be warmer, and you’ll have significantly more freedom of movement, as well as the ability to add and remove clothing with greater ease. Although our jumpsuits are designed to allow you to layer additional layers underneath them in cold weather, you will not need to bring all of your clothing with you because the jumpsuit will keep the majority of the wind out and you will most likely be too energized to notice the cold once you reach 10,000ft.

Gloves are the most essential part of clothing for winter skydiving. When traveling at speeds in excess of 120mph, your hands can surely become nippy! We’ve got a big assortment here, so don’t be concerned about getting some snacks before boarding the flight.
