You should not use any makeup to cover the area. This could lead to infection. You can resume normal make-up once the dots are gone.

During the carbon crust healing process, we recommend that you do not use makeup. A new container of mineral makeup would be best if you have to wear makeup. Protect the treatment area by covering it with sunscreen before you leave. You can use a large hat, sunglasses or an umbrella. After the carbon crusts have melted, sunscreen cannot be used.
