Can you wear makeup with lash extensions?
Caleb Butler
The best part of having extensions for your eyelashes is that they look gorgeous without makeup. However, even with extensions, we often need to increase the tension even more!
Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing AroundThe great thing about mascara extensions for eyes is that they let you look more stylish without any makeup whatsoever. However, a majority of our clients inquire whether they can apply makeup using their eyelash extensions. The answer is certainly! It’s just a matter of being aware of the makeup products you’re using in order to make sure that the lashes remain in place for the longest time possible.
The issue is not the makeup. The issue, but the oil contained in each product. The oils in products that are applied to your eye area may tear down the glue and cause your eyelashes to fall out of your eyes prematurely. We suggest using oil-free skincare and makeup that is oil-free around the eye area.
Do not pull or pull your eyelashes:
When you’re applying or taking off your makeup, use gentleness around your eye area. It is important to avoid pulling or pulling the lashes since this could weaken the bonds and cause them to fall out more quickly.
Mascara do’s and don’ts:
The lashes of your eyes will last the longest if you do not use mascara in any way. When you’ve got your long, full-length lashes you’ll not need mascara because they’ll naturally draw attention to your eyes.If you have mascara, apply it to your bottom lashes first. You may realize that’s all you’ll need. If you’re still looking for more, we suggest using mascara that is oil-free.
Do not use makeup that is waterproof:
The problem with waterproof make-up is it’s difficult to remove without oil-based products. We want to stay clear of oil-based makeup products at all costs. Eyelash extensions are sensitive to oils as it may cause breakage of the adhesive on your lashes and cause extensions to fall off in a hurry.
Get rid of the curler for lashes:
Eyelash extensions naturally curl already, which means you don’t need to invest in the eyelash curler. Actually, using lash curlers could create unnecessary tension on your extensions, which is something we don’t wish to do! Follow a simple routine for your makeup and get rid of the curler.
