Starbucks buttons or pins that are securely fastened (e.g., for a promotion or special recognition) are welcomed. Embroidered buttons and pins that express support for an ideology or a particular belief system are not permitted to be worn by students.

Can you wear nails working at Starbucks?

Undergarments necklaces can be worn with ease. FINGERNAILS. Keep your nails short to medium in length and clean. No nail polish (including gel and Shellac®) because it can chip and end up in our food or drink.

Do you have to buy your Starbucks apron?

At the start of each shift, a new, wrinkle-free apron must be worn. There is a laundry and maintenance responsibility for each partner’s aprons. While working, the apron must be worn at all times, but it can be taken off while resting, eating, or using the bathroom.

Can you wear your hair down at Starbucks?

It’s fine if you want to dye your hair. Clean, brushed hair should be kept away from the face at all times. Permanent or semipermanent hair color is required for food safety reasons; sprays, glitter, chalks, or other temporary products are not permitted. To keep your hair out of the way, use plain hair clips or hairbands to secure long locks.

How strict is Starbucks dress code?

Instead, employees are only allowed to wear bottoms that are black, navy, or brown in color. Grays and khakis are the only permitted light colors for Starbucks employee bottoms (forget the white, even in the summer).

How do you get a black Starbucks apron?

In order to wear the black apron, a Coffee Master must complete an internal training program and be “certified in expert coffee knowledge.” It is possible that aprons worn by baristas in green have been embellished in some other way.
