Carnivorous ferrets will eat anything they can get their hands on, including frogs and eggs as well as the flesh of small mammals like rodents. This may not be the case for ferrets that have been domesticated. It’s not uncommon for ferrets to develop a strong attachment to a particular brand of ferret food and refuse to eat anything else.
