Snakes can, in fact, scale walls, as some species have demonstrated. But it’s not just any wall that I’m talking about. The snake needs something to grab onto and push off of before it can move forward. Snakes, unlike insects, rats, and lizards, cannot “stick” to walls. Not even a rough surface will do.
