Do electric linear fireplaces give off heat?
Just like gas or wood-burning fireplaces, electric fireplaces do produce some heat. Heat can be turned off and on independently of the flame in most electric fireplaces. They typically produce a heat output of 5,000 BTUs or less.
Why is my heater flashing e3?
The display reads “E3” on the keyboard. Attempting to re-set the overheat protection has been successful. Overheating can occur if the heater’s air inlets and outlets are obstructed. Take a five-minute break from using the heater and allow it to cool down before plugging it back in.
Is there an electric fireplace that looks real?

How can I make my electric fireplace look real?
Remove any cords from view by bringing the electrical connection inside the fireplace. As with a gas fireplace, if you’re installing an electric one in a cabinet, you might want to consider adding a stone surround directly around the firebox to enhance the appearance of real fire.
