Can a snake climb a house wall?

Some snakes are excellent climbers and can scale walls, so this is true. But it’s not just any wall that I’m talking about. How do snakes climb things?

Slithering straight up from the ground to the top of a tree is the most common way snakes climb trees, but they can also use “concertina locomotion,” a hold-and-release movement. Using S-shaped bends in its body, the snake grips two spots on a tree in a manner similar to how a human might climb a rope.

How do snakes crawl in the walls and not fall off?

Snakes use their long, tubular bodies to bend and flex as they climb. Although their glossy bellies appear to be unsuitable for climbing, they easily glide over the rough bark of trees. The reptiles’ progress would have been slowed if they had been rough. The roughness and smoothness of a tree’s trunk are two extremes.
