Can you soak rice too long?

Rice Soaking or RinsingAt worst, soaking rice will make it gummier. Similarly, rinsing white rice removes many of the nutrients and some of the starch that it contains. Consistency is key when it comes to rinsing and soaking, so pick a method and stick with it.
