How much to straight pipe a bmw

It depends on the model and the exhaust you want to use. The M3 can use either a complete stock E36 Exhaust with some minor modifications, or go for a 3″ aftermarket exhaust and be done with it. As far as I know, there is only one option under $1k that follows this route: Invidia Catted J-Pipe and Q300 Exhaust.

You can find axle-back systems, cat-backs, and even complete turbo-back systems. For the most part, these will all be 3″ exhausts with varying levels of quality and sound.
The average cost to replace an exhaust pipe on a BMW vehicle is around $1100, with a range of $400-2000. This does not include installation, which can add an additional $100-300 to the cost. The main factors that will affect the cost are the type of exhaust, the materials used, and the complexity of the installation.
When it comes to choosing an exhaust system for your BMW, there are a few factors to consider:
1. Budget – As with everything, you get what you pay for; but more importantly, you tend to get what you don’t pay for! While this is not always the case (the V-Maxx XS Exhaust for example), it’s something to keep in mind. If your budget is on the lower end, you’ll likely have to sacrifice quality and/or sound.
2. Type of exhaust – This will primarily depend on the model of BMW you have. For example, the E36 M3 can use a variety of different exhausts, while the E46 M3 is more limited.
3. Materials – Exhaust systems are usually made up of the following materials: Mild steel (most common), stainless steel (higher quality, but can be more difficult to repair if it rusts), and titanium.
4. Sound – This is a personal preference, but some exhaust systems are designed to have a certain sound or tone that others may not have. The BMW stock exhaust is generally considered mellower, while large aftermarket exhausts tend to be louder.
