How to avoid spoilers - Kylon Powell

I know it’s a new trend to talk about spoilers on the internet, especially with regards to Game of Thrones. I even once saw a video of a guy freaking out because someone spoiled some old 90s cartoon or something for him on Facebook. It was hilarious and also pretty stupid at the same time.
Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing AroundAnyway, here’s what you do to avoid spoilers.
First, you go to the place where they’re discussing whatever it is that’s been spoiled. You then open a new tab in your browser and search for movie times in your area. This will bring up a bunch of different local theaters that are playing whichever movie has been spoiled elsewhere on the internet.
Then, after you’ve determined which theater is showing the film you need to see, closeout or open a new window with one of these sites: IMDB, Amazon Prime Movies, Fandango, etc. Go to the movie’s website and find out how much tickets cost at this particular location/time of day/etc…and start haggling with them via text message about bringing more people with you to see the movie.
The theater knows that it’s a business and that they want your money, so there is a good chance that they will give in and allow all of you into whatever blockbuster has been spoiled for you on Reddit or whatever other message board happened to ruin it for you. If the theater says no, go ahead and make reservations for dinner or drinks or whatever else at a restaurant or bar near this same theater. Then delete your browser history from all previous tabs open before trying to watch the movie again – taking extra care to avoid any pop-up notifications showing up as long as possible – and hope for the best!
