The bracket is going to be moved out of the way first, so that we may continue. In order to get these off here, we’re going to take a 10-millimeter screwdriver, and this one will also go ahead and drive all of these out, and then we’ll place them in a great safe.

Place the location exactly as shown, and then let go of the reins. The bracket will be picked up now, and we should be able to loosen it up after that. Let’s just put things to one side for the time being. Now, we’re going to go ahead and start with the negative terminal to get things started.

Loosen the negative terminal, which is likewise a size 10 millimeter, by a few millimeters. Allow the positive to be released as well. Remove the negative first, then push it to the side and proceed to remove the positive one after that. I expect there will be something clamped onto it because it is not cooperating in any way. This one will be a little challenging. The engineers at Chevrolet work around the clock to figure out how they can extract more money from the consumer.

Perhaps there is another one somewhere else, and this one here will make your life a living nightmare, and this one here will do the same. You may now remove the battery cover by pressing that in and pulling up, then pressing it down again until it comes out. There will be another bracket that is holding the battery in place, so go ahead and remove it as well as the previous one. Take the size 13 and place it aside in a nice, safe spot. So now that your battery is ready to be removed, be warned that the sucker will be hefty. So that’s how you get that battery out of your car.
