You can alter the headlights of the Nissan Altima by following the steps in the following steps:

  1. Take off the six fascia and grill clips from the grill and fascia. Next, remove the five front clips from the shield that protects the engines from splashes.
  2. Take off each of the wheels on your front. Also, remove the fender’s inner (fender skirt) screws. After that, take off the clips for the skirt of your fender.
  3. Take the skirt of the fender out to the side. It should be tucked behind the brake disc. Check the area between the front and rear bumpers. Locate and take off the bolts holding the bumper’s fascia.
  4. Grab the bumper’s fascia and then gently pull it away from the corner clip. Ensure that you repeat this procedure for all the right and left edge sides. The corner support clip can be found located behind the fascia, around the middle in the light source.
  5. Lift the bumper carefully off the fascia (don’t scratch it) and put it away from the way. If your car is equipped with fog lamps, take them off and disconnect them while lifting off the bumper fascia.
  6. Replacing the headlight. The headlight is secured with four bolts. You’ll need to unbolt three harness connectors on the old headlight and connect those to connect to the headlight you want to replace.
  7. Install the bumper fascia in reverse order. Make sure that the foam support is in place before placing the facia. Make sure the headlights are adjusted. Make sure that all tires are at the proper pressure. Check that there isn’t an additional load on the vehicle than the driver (or similar weight inside the seat of the driver) Coolant, engine oil is at the right amount, and that the fuel tank is fully filled. Set the vehicle on a flat surface.
  8. If adjustments are required to be made, first loosen the screw that adjusts to the fullest extent, then adjust it through tightening of the screw.

If your headlights are just a little blurry You can attempt to make them clear using an abrasive such as toothpaste and plenty of rubbing. The first step is to cleanse your headlights by using Windex or water and soap. After that with a gentle cloth, apply the toothpaste with a small amount on the damp headlight. (Toothpaste mixed with baking soda works best.)
