Installation Recommendations

1. Place the filter in a place that is convenient for the replacement of the filter.

2. The life of the inline filter is contingent on the amount of water that is used and the chemicals present in the source of water. The manufacturer suggests changing the filter every 6-12 months or when the capacity is exhausted, whichever occurs first.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Switch off the water.

2. Remove the filter that is in use and cut off the cold tubing that will be used for the filter is to be placed Note: Cut the tubing square and cut it neatly. Tubing that isn’t cut in a square could leak. Take away all marks of scoring or burrs that are on the tubing. Utilize a tube with flexible, thin-walled plastic tubing. Make sure to install only on the cold water line.

3. Verify that the flow of water matches that of Arrow on the filter.

4. Join the lines for inlet. Check out the diagrams below.

5. The filter should be flushed by placing the filter, with the outlet side down, in a pan or bucket. The water will be on to run for 5 minutes. After that, then turn off, wait for an hour before flushing again for five more minutes. Repeat the process until the water is free of any trace. This helps to eliminate any small particles of activated carbon or air out of the body of the filter.

6. Attach the water outlet to the appliance’s inlet.

7. Make sure to turn on the water, and then check for leaks.

8. Inspect for leaks every few hours throughout the time following installation.
