How To Change Autocad Cursor Color

Autocad offers a variety of tools to personalize your Autocad working environment depending on the user’s preferences. You can alter the colors of the general elements of that Autocad workspace. If you’re looking to bring your own style into your Autocad workspace, you can alter the colors of general elements within this working space within Autocad. This is why in this post we’ll show you how to change how the colors of crosshairs appear within Autocad’s Autocad draw environment. Follow these steps to change the crosshair’s hue in Autocad. Select Autocad options to change colors of your crosshair in Autocad to alter the shade of the crosshair, click right-click on the main page in Autocad, and select options, which are indicated in blue Arrow. Select the Display tab in Autocad’s options. After you click the Options button in order to alter the crosshair’s color in Autocad Select the Display tab as shown in the green-colored arrow and then click on the Colors tab, as shown in the circular green. This will alter how the crosshair color appears in Autocad.

Choose Crosshair color option

In this stage, select the 2D model space in the Context box, then choose Crosshairs, as indicated by the green arrow of the Interface Element. Choose the new color of crosshair in the green box, and then press the Apply&Close button indicated by the red Arrow.

Closer to the Autocad options

Click OK which is represented by the red Arrow in Autocad’s Options tab. Autocad to finish the crosshair color-changing process.

To Customize a Mouse Button Combination

  1. Click the Manage tab and then Customization Panel User Interface.
  2. On the Customize tab, click on Customizations. Customizations in the pane, click the plus sign (plus) on the Mouse Buttons node to expand the list.
  3. Click and hold a mouse button.

Launch AutoCAD and click on the “Command” line at the bottom of the screen. Input 0 and press enter to turn the crosshairs in the normal direction.
