How To Change Battery Galaxy S7
David Wilson
Turning off your Galaxy S7 before replacing the battery is obviously necessary for safety reasons.
1. You’ll need to use the SIM/micro SD card slot unlocking tool to do this. After that, carefully press the tool into the hole.
2. Next, remove the MicroSD/SIM card tray by grasping it firmly.
3. The glue on the back panel can be loosened by using a heat gun. Lift the glass slightly with the suction cup and insert an opening pick between the back panel and the frame. After then, use the arrow keys to move the opening pick around the screen.
4. Move the opening pick all the way around the back of the panel to make sure it’s free to be raised. When you’re ready, begin raising the panel. Be sure to reheat the back panel if it isn’t coming off easily.
5. The Galaxy S7’s rear panel may now be removed in its entirety. It must be replaced if it is damaged.
6. Remove the internal phone frame by unscrewing the 12 screws with a cross-headed screwdriver.
7. Pull the top of the frame up with the nylon spudger.
8. Using the nylon spudger, lift the central frame part.
9. Turn back the gold glue across the base of the frame and the battery with the pointy tip of the spudger.
10. Once this is done, use the pointed end of the spudger to pry up the frame’s bottom edge.
11. Remove the battery connector by unscrewing it.
12. Heat the adhesive under the battery with a hairdryer for a few seconds to loosen it. After that, using the spudger’s flat edge, lift the battery out of the way.
13. Lift the battery fully to release it from the connector. Your Galaxy S7’s battery has been removed.
14. Your Galaxy S7’s battery has now been totally removed. If it’s no longer working properly, you can just swap it out.
