The Sky remote is powered by two AAA batteries. If the batteries are not fully charged the following message will be displayed on your TVscreen “Please replace the batteries as soon as you see this message”.

Don’t store batteries with flats inside your device. Avoid mixing older and new batteries, or battery types that are different.

• The clip should be pulled to the left of the battery cover and then pull the cover away from and off the body in the manner illustrated below.

• This could be difficult since the battery cover may be quite tight and extends over the bottom of the remote, therefore, you must hold the top portion of the remote with one hand, and then use the other hand to push down the clip, and then remove the cover of the battery from its body.

• Remove the batteries carefully and then replace the batteries.

• After the batteries are installed then replace the cover ensure you click the cover to the original position.

• Return to TV live by pressing sky while on any menus in the Sky Guide menus to switch back to live TV.

• Return to a recording that you’ve viewed after watching a video in the Planner and then switching to live TV, you can go back to the place when you quit the video by hitting the play button 3 times.

• Restore deleted recordings and view them again You don’t have to worry that you’ve erased a recording from your Planner in error.

• Instant rewind/fast forward or instant rewind: If you’d like to get to the start or end of your program you don’t have to wait around while you rewind and fast forward through the entire program. Press and hold the button to rewind or speed forward for a minimum of two seconds, and you’ll be transported in a flash to the furthest point in your program according to the route you choose. You can modify the instant rewind settings by pressing the settings button in the Sky remote, selecting after which you can use the arrow buttons to navigate you to set.
