Remove the battery compartment from the bottom of your Furby.

Remove the battery compartment from the bottom of your Furby. Do not remove it from any other location!

Remove the small screws on the interior of your Furby using your screwdriver.

Now that you’ve opened up your Furby, you’ll see a small circuit board attached to the interior of its head. There are four screws on each side of this board. Remove them using your screwdriver, and make sure to keep them in a safe place because they’re tiny and easy to lose.

Carefully remove the outer covering of your Furby.

Now that you’ve safely removed the screws from your Furby, it’s time to remove the outer covering. You can do this by removing one of its eyelids and then using a screwdriver as a lever to pop off its eye coverings.

Remove the eye assembly by lifting it out of your Furby’s body.

To remove the eye assembly, you’ll need to remove two small screws.

Use a screwdriver to remove them. Remove them carefully: they’re very tiny and easy to lose!

Once those have been removed, lift the eye assembly out of your Furby’s body.

Take new eyes out of their packaging.

Take the new eyes out of their packaging and carefully remove the protective plastic caps from both sides. Place one eye on top of the Furby’s head, ensuring that it is lined up correctly and fits securely before you secure it with a screwdriver or other small tool (don’t use your fingers).

Repeat this process for the other eye, being careful not to damage either eye while doing so

Place your new eyes into the eye socket and ensure they are firmly in place.

Place the new eyes into the eye socket and ensure they are firmly in place. Ensure that both eyes are facing forward and not off to one side.

If you’re using replacement batteries, make sure that when you flip the switch on Furby’s back, it turns off and on as it should (you may have to hold down for several seconds).

Replace all removed screws and put batteries back into your Furby’s battery compartment.

Replace all removed screws. Make sure the screws are tight and secure.

Ensure the battery compartment is closed properly, without any gaps or loose parts.

Check for broken or damaged parts inside of your Furby’s battery compartment.

Conclusion

Congratulations! You now know how to change the eyes on your Furby. This is a great way to customize your Furby and make it your own.
