You may modify the layout of your onscreen or wireless keyboard, as well as switch typing functions like spell checking on or off. You can even add keyboards for writing in various languages. Installing keyboards for other languages allows you to type in two languages without changing keyboards.

Your keyboard shifts automatically between the two languages you use the most. (Not all languages are supported. Add or delete a language-specific keyboard.

To access the keyboard, go to Settings > General > Keyboard.

After pressing Keyboards, you can perform the following:

Set up a keyboard: You can choose a keyboard from the list by choosing

Add New Keyboard. Add extra keyboards by repeating the process.

Remove a keyboard: Press Edit, select the Delete button next to the keyboard you wish to remove, and select Delete.

Rearrange your keyboard’s keys as follows: Drag the Reorder button next to a keyboard to a new position in the list after tapping Edit. When you install a keyboard for a different language, the corresponding language is automatically added to the Preferred Language Order list.

This list may be found in Settings > General > Language & Region, and you can add languages to it directly. You may also reorganize the list to modify how content is shown in applications and web pages. Make a switch to a different keyboard.

While typing, press and hold the Next Keyboard, Emoji, or Switch Keyboard keys. Select the keyboard you wish to use by tapping its name. Continue touching to access different keyboards that have been activated.

You may go back and forth between Magic Keyboard and other keyboards. Assign a different keyboard layout to a keyboard. You can use a keyboard layout that does not correspond to the keys on your keyboard.
