Quip is one of the coolest electric toothbrushes that you can get because the company will send you a new brush head via mail whenever you want a new one. At the same time, the battery in your Quip toothbrush will eventually, get low, die, and need to be replaced. In this article, I will go over how you can change the battery in your Quip Toothbrush.

Remove The Quip Toothbrush Head

The first thing that you will need to do is to remove the brush head from your Quip toothbrush. You can do this by placing your thumb on the little dots that can be found on the back of the toothbrush. All you have to do is pull it and you will be able to access the battery.

Remove The Quip Toothbrush Motor And Battery

The next thing that you will need to do is to remove the motor part of your Quip toothbrush. You can do this by putting your thumbnail on one of the tiny notches that are on the front part of the motor. Pull it and the battery will come right out.

Insert AAA Batteries Into Quip

Now, it’s time for you to replace the battery that is in your Quip toothbrush. You will need some AAA batteries. Once you have them, ensure that the negative part of the battery is facing down. Insert the new battery in your Quip and ensure that it is incorrectly and all the way.

Insert Back The Motor

Next, you will need to put the motor that you removed earlier back into the Quip brush. Make sure that you insert it the right way. Also, ensure that it looks and fits correctly to prevent any issues.

Put The Brush Head Back Onto Your Toothbrush

Now, you will need to put the brush head back onto your Quip Toothbrush. The Q symbol should face the front part of the toothbrush. If one correctly, you should hear it click into place.

Use A Different Battery If Your Quip Toothbrush Doesn’t Work

If you notice that your Quip isn’t working, then you will need to check if you insert the battery correctly. Also, it’s possible that you have a defective battery. Also, you can try the same battery on another device such as a remote to ensure that it’s working.

Lastly, if your Quip doesn’t work even after you changed the battery, then you will need to take a picture of it and send those pictures to the support team at Quip; they might be able to help you fix it or give you a replacement Quip for free!
