BeoSound 5 is the product of Bang & Olufsen Company, it is considered as a first step towards a new digital musical world where temporary and permanent devices both exist. It was launched in 2009 but due to its high cost it could not create a large impact in the market.

In this article, we will discuss methods through which can we connect the BeoSound with the internet in past many customers complained that they could not connect the device with internet so we tried to address the problem.

Methods to connect BeoSound with Internet 

The first method is to connect BeoSound with a network link router. The company recommends that the device should be connected with a wired connection. For a wireless connection, the users have to purchase a USB network adaptor separately. 

The above diagram clearly showed how we can construct the network connection 

(1)Go to the settings 

(2) Click on the network info 

(3) The network info contains data related to the IP address, hostname and password 

(4) To change the settings or password go into the advance settings

(5) Before starting the system, it’s better to make a connection with the internet. 

Connect BeoSound with Wi-Fi connection 

To connect with Wi-Fi its necessary to purchase a separate USB network adapter (TP-link and Alfa products) are preferable to been used. 

(1)Download the app of Bang& Olufsen app on your android or ios devices 

(2) open the app and on the main screen add new device option is visible 

(3) By clicking on the plus sign you can add your devices

(4) The app will search through Bluetooth 

(5) The BeoSound device should be visible on the screen

(6) Add the device 

(7) Select wireless-network and enter the default password and username 

(8) Your device should be connected, if there is any update installs the updates so you can enjoy your music without any interruption
