How To Connect Bluetooth To Honda Civic

9 steps to connect Bluetooth with your Honda Civic 

In this article, we are going to instruct how you can connect Bluetooth devices with your Honda civic. Please pair your devices in the parking state

  1. Click on setting on your Bluetooth device 
  2. Select Bluetooth option
  3. Make sure your Bluetooth is switch on and it’s in discovery mode.
  4. The select setting from your Honda multimedia home screen
  5. Select add Bluetooth devices
  6. Select add option
  7. A code will be displayed on the car home screen
  8. Put the code on your Bluetooth device 
  9. The Bluetooth device is successfully connected to your car. 

Pair Bluetooth with Honda Touch Screen Multimedia 

  1. Click on setting on your Bluetooth device 
  2. Select Bluetooth option
  3. Make sure your Bluetooth is switch on and it’s in discovery mode.
  4. Click on the Phone button displayed on the Multimedia car device
  5. Select the device 
  6. The Phone is successfully paired 

Pair Bluetooth with Honda Non-Touch Screen Multimedia 

For the Non-Touch screen, a selector Knob is used to select the options 

  1. Press the Phone button
  2. The Device Name will be displayed on the screen 
  3. Select the device 
  4. Enter the pairing code in the Bluetooth device 
  5. The devices are successfully connected. 

Troubleshooting Bluetooth connectivity problems in Honda Civic  

  1. First, check whether your device is compatible with the Honda civic or not. There is a list of compatible devices present on the Honda hands-free link page. 
  2. Make sure your device is charged sometimes low battery can cause problems in connectivity
  3. Switched off Bluetooth from other devices
  4. If the problem persists the reset is the last option. Reset the Honda infotainment device.
