You can use your Chromecast to establish a connection between the phone and the projector. Before setting the process there are few things that you should consider (1) The WI-Fi should be present (2) Projector support HDMI port

The first step is to connect Chromecast to the projector with the help of an HDMI port

Connect your mobile device to the same network as your Chromecast 

Tap the Chromecast icon and play a media application such as Netflix, Amazon prime

Select the Chromecast device connected to your projector

Wireless connection 

They are some apps on play store that enable the connection of projector and mobile device without additional hardware device. There are apps such as Roku that provides a streaming facility 

Connect using MHL (Mobile High Definition Link)
