How To Connect Two Bluetooth Speakers To One iPhone

Writer Emily Cortez

You can connect 2 Bluetooth speakers to one iPhone. It sounds like a fantastic alternative option for a gathering or intimate setting. You will not only have to connect several Bluetooth speakers and then synchronize them to the right audio device, but you also need to find the best way to playback music for your requirements.

In order to connect 2 Bluetooth devices, like Megaboom speakers or two Homepod speakers, or other Bluetooth gadgets to stream music using one Apple-compatible device, you will need:

The iPhone or iPad can run iOS 6 and higher versions.

A pair or two of compatible Bluetooth speakers that have built-in audio cables and third-party apps are supported.

A wireless router that ensures all connected devices, like the two Bluetooth headsets, Homepod Stereo pair, or Bose speakers, are able to connect to each other.

Here are the steps to establish a Bluetooth connection across several devices:

Step 1

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and accessible. Your device must also have the most recent iOS software. To determine if this is the case, look up settings GeneralAbout and then search for the software version 6 or later at the top of the page. The setting may appear different according to the OS version that is running on the device.

Step 2

Check that all devices are switched up and in view. This process could take several minutes.

Step 3

If you’ve detected two speakers, choose one of them following the steps on your iPad or iPhone to connect it.

Sometimes, this is accomplished by entering a passcode (the identical Bluetooth passcode you see on the speaker) or, sometimes, using buttons on both speakers at the same time.

Try connecting each speaker using very little or no pause between the beginning of the connection and then completing the process.

If you’re not hearing any sound out of the connection after it was established, you can try switching off Airplane Mode if that’s been turned on. It should sound again within a few minutes of switching off the mode once more.

Step 4

Continue Steps 2 through 3 for each additional speaker set you want to add. It’s not necessary that each speaker be connected to an individual iPhone.

To connect, for instance, another speaker, you can remove the two speakers from the connection, and then connect the third.

Step 5

To return to the original Bluetooth headset or speaker, take out any additional devices from the tab for settings.

You can connect them back whenever you want to follow the steps outlined in the previous paragraphs.

Step 6

To change the volume of sound emanating from the speakers, you’ll need to alter them manually through the Settings > Music and selecting the Volume Limit option.

In the next step, you’ll have to turn it off in case it’s not already. Adjust the volume of your preferred speakers to ensure that they’re calibrated appropriately for all your speakers.
