1st Method using WPS to connect
Wi-Fi protected setup aka WPS can be used to connect Wi-Fi network without using a password. WPS is present on the Wi-Fi router anyone who is physically present near the router can create a network connection by pressing the WPS button. By pressing the WPS button anyone can have access to the internet without putting the password.
WPS is an easy and simple method, but there are two basic requirements. The first is that you should be physically present near the device. The second requirement is that you should have the right settings on your android device.
Steps to Connect Using WPS
· From the home screen enter the Wi-Fi setting option
· Select Additional settings
· Scroll down and select connect by WPS button option
· Now at the back of the router, there is a WPS button
· Hold the WPS button for 10 seconds
· Your phone will be automatically connected to the device.
2nd Method Using Guest method
The second option is through the Guest mode option. In every router device, there is an option of guest mode. To activate the guest mode, you need to know the IP address of the router, or you have to be physically present near the router to read the IP address, which is usually printed at the back of the router.
Steps to connect using Guest Mode
1. Open the IP address of the router
2. Using the administrator credential log into it. The credentials are usually print at the back of the router
3. Under the wireless setting select the Guest Network option
4. Set the credentials of the guest mode
5. Save the settings
6. Connect the device
