How to delete picasa photos from Samsung galaxy s6

Writer John Campbell

If you are anything like me, all the Picasa albums that show in your gallery might quickly become annoying. Because of Picasa’s synchronization and the fact that every image you submit on Google creates its own album in Picasa, your gallery looks to be an unending chain of albums each holding one or two photographs. Skip this step if all you want to see when you open the gallery are the photographs that are actually stored on your device, including the SD card if you have one.

Because of its quickness, editing possibilities, and the fact that I did not see all of my Picasa albums, I used QuickPic to navigate my images on my phone for a long time. I found myself using QuickPic less and less as Android became more and more speedy and efficient, as well as incorporating photo editing by default.. The Picasa albums were the only thing keeping me from utilizing the Gallery on a daily basis, but that is no longer the case.

Step 1: Disconnect the Picasa Web album from the computer:

The first step is to go into your device’s settings, locate the Account section, and select the Google account.

It is worth noting that the synchronization halt will have no effect on Google’s instant photo uploads or the cloud-based Picasa photographs. Simply turn off the sync albums on your device, and the album will display in your gallery.

Step 2: Remove the gallery’s information:

The albums that have previously been synchronized, on the other hand, are already present. As a result, you must remove the data from the gallery.

Step 3: Return to the gallery and wait for it to refresh:

At this point, you are virtually done. All that is left to do now is access the gallery and wait for the thumbnails to rebuild and update. If you do not have a lot of images on your smartphone, this will happen fairly instantly, but if you have a lot of photos, you will have to wait a few seconds.
