You might either use a dryer or allow towels to dry on their own naturally. Use the normal or programmed cycle on your home dryer to get the most fluffiness out of your clothes. Over-drying can cause damage to delicate fibers. Removing towels and folding them quickly after the cycle will prevent creases.

Towels can be dried by hanging them on a clothesline inside or outside. Towels can get stiff after being dried on the line, but a little fluff in the dryer on “no heat” can soften them up considerably.

Using towels for any purpose other than this exposes you to microorganisms, which must be removed. Before washing, separate the towels into light and dark heaps. The use of white towels is recommended since towels are so absorbent that they can absorb dye from darker towels, resulting in the towels becoming dingy or discolored.

Stop stuffing too many towels into the washing machine at once. Also, when using a top-loading washer, be certain that the load is equal on both sides. A traditional front-loading washer has a capacity of approximately seven towels, whereas a top-loading washer has a capacity of approximately 10 towels. If you use too much washing powder, your towels may become stiff. To achieve the best results, use approximately half the amount of washing powder that you would normally use.

When it comes to washing towels, several detergents are effective, so select your favorite. Towels that are white or lighter in color wash well in hot water. The usage of hot water makes it simpler to clean white and light-colored towels. Dark towels must be cleaned in hot water to avoid fading. Warm water helps to protect colors while also killing microorganisms. When washing the towels, take them from the machine and shake them to extract any remaining water before placing them in the dryer. This helps to speed the drying time while also keeping towels soft.
