How do you find a lost corn snake in your house?

Doing a thorough room-by-room sweep is the most common method for finding missing snakes. Find where they were last seen and start looking for them. It is rare for snakes to venture far from a good hiding place. After that, go room by room in search of the missing items.

Where would a snake go if it escaped?

There is a good chance that snakes will hide out behind or beneath furniture or other objects. Look along the walls and beneath any baseboard heaters. However, they may end up behind or even in the tanks of toilets, which is unlikely. You can never have too many flashlights or mirrors in your bag.
