Dial pad’s cloud-based telephone system keeps you active in real-time on all of your existing devices including those running Galaxy Tab 3. If you’re not yet done this step, download and then install Dialpad on the Android app on Google Play Store.

Place a Call

To call someone starts by going through the tab Home, and choose the Plus (‘+’) icon. Then choose New Call or the Phone icon when you are viewing the conversation thread of any of the contacts.

Receive a Call

To make a phone call, click your phone icon in your Tab, which is not active (left) or click an “Answer” button in the event that you’re Android device is inactive (right). For transferring a call, select another Transfer Contact, then select the contact in the list or input your name. Select the contact from the list or type the name of that person. You can add up to three callers in a single call. You can make calls with Galaxy Tab Dialer. Choose whether your personal, company-issued number, as well as your Dialpad number, will be visible when you make calls using your tablet phone app (native dialer).To alter this, go into settings and then Settings. Inbound Caller ID> Calls coming from on the Android Dialer then select the number that your caller ID will show:

Send a Message

Sending a message is easy. Click to send a message, click the plus (‘+’) icon > New Message, and then enter the contact’s name, number, or email. After that, choose their name or number, and you can begin writing a message. If you’ve had a recent chat with the person, search for their name under the Home tab under the Recents section. You can start the conversation thread, then compose an SMS message you want to share.

Receive a Message

To verify the messages you’ve received You’ll receive messages in three formats:

  • in-app: Launch the Dialpad app and you’ll be able to see the contact’s name in bold with blue dots beside their profile photo under the Friends or Recent section. In addition, there is a listing of upcoming events at the lower right of the page.
  • Drop-Down When you exit the Dialpad app you’ll get an email with a drop-down menu that contains short replies messages that you can choose along with a button to indicate the text as read, or respond directly to the notification
  • Notification Dot Small, color-coded dots will be attached to the Dialpad icon in the app’s home screen as well as within your app drawer.
