How to hang stockings on electric fireplace
Gabriel Cooper
We can hang the stockings on it now that the fireplace has been spruced up with the new space above it and fresh paint on the surround and mantle. No matter where you choose to hang your stockings near your fireplace, here are a few aspects to consider and some ideas to consider.

Command hooks, which are little hooks with a non-damaging sticky double-sided tape on the reverse, are the greatest item found for hanging wreaths, garland, and stockings on fireplaces. They’re available at Home Depot and other hardware stores. They come in a variety of sizes, from little to huge, to store both lightweight and heavy goods. Larger command hooks can also be used to hold wreaths, especially in locations where there is no other way to hang it or where you don’t want to make a nail hole, such as planked walls. They’re also useful for hanging garland on and around doors and windows.
When you remove the hooks, they usually do not damage the walls or paint, but always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and use at your own risk. Make sure the surface you’re intending to hang a hook on is clean, dry, and dust-free.
Twine, thread, ribbon, or transparent fishing line are all good options.
You may use brown twine, as on a fireplace, to hang ornaments or stockings on different heights, or you can use a festive ribbon, a plain transparent fishing line, or white thread or string, depending on the appearance you desire.
Branches or large sticks
Use a birch branch on the mantel! It’s hefty enough to stay on the mantel without help, but you may secure it with command hooks for further security. Ornaments may be hung straight from the branch, or put the branch on some colorful beaded string lights and wrap a couple of the wires around the branch for more glitz.
