How to mount tv on rock fireplace
Ethan Hayes
Homeowners might decide to put flat-screen TVs above the fireplace. This is feasible, even if the wall is made of rocks, provided that you secure the screws using cement anchors and make sure that the anchors are secured prior to hanging the TV. If you don’t secure the anchors properly, it could cause them to slip as time passes, which can lead to the TV falling off the wall.

- Kit for anchor cement
- Hammer
- Epoxy-based masonry
- Screw
- Socket
- Wrench Screwdriver
Procedure:
- Fix the bracket to the area and trace the anchor holes in the stone.
- Drill the hole you would like your anchors to be. Use a masonry tool. The size of the drill bit should be the same as that of the cement anchor kit you are using. It is critical to obtain the proper fit.
- Inject the anchors using a hammer and pressing the anchor into the piloted holes. Secure it using your epoxy-based masonry. Allow the epoxy to completely dry.
- The mounting section should be hung with appropriate screws and use the attachment wrench to secure them. Get rid of the entire section from the TV using the screws that connect it with the television.
- Join the sections that are on your TV. Join the jolts on the edge of the metal of the TV. The mount will join the portion of the amount that you connected to your stone.
- Get a couple of friends to assist you with lifting the TV and attach it to the bracket. The mount will be trimmed to size or inserted into the bracket that is mounted on the wall.
Cautions:
- When hanging up a plasma television ensure that the flame doesn’t exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit before putting it.
- Connect a thermometer with the desired location of the television, create a fire as well as let it roar for a while. If the temperature is higher than 90 °, you should choose another place.
