Dyes may occur on wood because of several factors. Dye that spreads from streamers, confetti, and hair dye appears to become the most common. If the discoloration is dried or is just on the ground, use a clean microfiber and a solution of white vinegar or lemon juice to Two parts water to wipe it away. Be patient; many dye stains on a wood surface are ‘loose dye’ and will wash out with just elbow grease. If you scrape rather than rubbing, you risk removing the finish.

If that doesn’t succeed, or if the stain has penetrated the surface, it will require a bit more effort and elbow grease to remove.

To form a paste, add baking soda plus white vinegar or lemon juice. At the very minimum, it should be as sticky as toothpaste.

Put this mixture towards the discolored region and lightly massage it using your fingers .

For more cleaning power, spray the area with simple water or white vinegar. Using a soft cloth, wash the area clean.

This could take multiple sprays to entirely erase the discoloration.

 Use isopropyl alcohol, hand sanitizer, or hair spray to delicately wash away the stain. 

These products all are alcohol-based and it will help eliminate a dye stain. However, there’s a considerable chance they’ll leave a whitish stain on the table, which you may erase by rubbing little olive or cooking oil into the area affected. When the stain is fully removed, wash the surface clean with a wash rag dampened with plain water to remove any cleaning product residue.
