There are many ways to get rid of oil stains from sheets. Here are the most popular:

  • Leave your sheet in hot water overnight with a mixture of dishwashing soap and laundry detergent.
  • Sprinkle baking soda over the stain. It should dry for about 30 minutes before taking it off the machine.
  • Add a few drops of dishwashing detergent and rub the stain with your fingers. Let it sit for a while before you wash with hot water.

One of the most effective ways to eliminate body oils from sheets is the following:

  1. Place your sheets in the washer with liquid detergent. Then, run it on the highest temperature setting recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. After the cycle has been completed then place the sheet into an empty tub or bucket filled and fill it with warm water.
  3. Include a standard amount of laundry detergent in liquid form One tablespoon of dishwashing soap, and approximately 14 cup washing soda.
  4. Give the sheet a quick stir using your hands, then leave it to sit overnight.
  5. Next day put your laundry in the machine to wash again.
  6. In addition to the liquid detergent for laundry, you can also add half cup of white vinegar.
  7. Once the wash has been completed Place the sheet in bright sunlight for drying.

If you’re not happy with this method, apply an ounce or two of baking soda on the stain. After 30 minutes, you will observe the baking soda becoming clumpy up. Repeat this procedure for a few times more to ensure that you thoroughly absorb the body’s oil.

When you’ve completed using baking soda, put a small dishwashing soap onto the stain, and then rub it directly into the stain using your fingers. Allow it to sit for a while and then rinse it out by using hot water. Finally, place the sheet of clothing in the machine at the highest temperature setting and use the detergent of your choice.
