How to repair skate shoes

All skaters want to know how to repair skate shoes. Well, there are a few ways on how this can be done. Below are some ways you can do in order for your shoes to look brand new again.

If you happen to rip or tear the side of your shoe, simply cover it up with some duct tape. Its adhesive will patch it up perfectly. As you wear them, the tear will eventually rip right through the tape, but that should be enough to get you by until you can get a new pair of shoes.
Darned socks:
Socks are bad for your skateboard shoes since they tend to make your shoes dirty pretty quickly. Instead, try using darned socks which are made out of thick fabric, and save your shoe from any holes or dirt.
Idea: mattress material + old bag
Buy an old comforter off the street because these things are only good for sleeping in front of the television. Cut out square pieces that have one side open, just like the mattress cover on top of your bed. This is perfect for keeping your shoes clean, even if you skate outside all day long.
Nike SB + duct tape
If you happen to be sporting the Nike SB kicks, try taping over the toe of the shoe because it tends to rip pretty quickly. The traction on these shoes is similar to Vans so ripping here isn’t as noticeable! If it’s too late, don’t worry. Just use the same procedure used for repairing torn shoes with duct tape. It should work out fine!
Repairing laces:
The lace holes tend to rip open after multiple uses. Place a small amount of superglue in between both layers of fabric and let it dry overnight, then trim off any excess material that sticks out!
Thanks for reading everyone, hopefully, this will help you out with repairing your skate shoes. If not, just buy a new pair, it can save you money and time.
