There are a few ways that you can set the clock on your BMW E46. The first way is to use the onboard computer. To do this, press and hold the “Menu” button on the steering wheel for a few seconds until the menu pops up. Then scroll down to “Settings” and select it. Next, scroll down to “Vehicle Settings” and select it. Then, scroll down to “Clock Adjustment” and press the “Enter” button. The next screen will show you all of your options for setting the clock on your BMW E46. First set the time zone by using the left knob under the menu. Then use the right knob to set either 12-hour or 24-hour time mode. Next, use the left knob on top of your instrument cluster to adjust minutes. Finally, on another display in your car, you can use the right knob to choose between miles or kilometers for distance units.
1) Press and hold off/on key until message displays
2) Scroll through setup screens with MODE button
3) Select clock with button under TEL
4) Set time zone with left knob
5) Set clock mode (12 or 24 hr) with right knob
6) Adjust minutes with left knob
7) Select distance units (miles or kilometers) with right knob
8) Press off/on key to exit; settings will save automatically.
If you don’t want to use the onboard computer, you can also set the clock on your BMW E46 by using the buttons on your radio. To do this, press and hold the “preset 1″ button until the display screen pops up. Then use the ” FM” and ” AM” buttons to scroll through the different menus until you get to the display screen where it shows you information such as time, date, and bio guide. To adjust the clock on this display screen, use the “Track Up” and ” Track Down” buttons to set your time zone. Then use the “Track Up/Down” buttons to set your desired time.
