How to sync acumen fireplace remote

Acumen fireplace remote has been made to be used with the gas fireplaces that are decorative or wall heaters. The Remote Receiver can be placed in the fireplace, or as the wall.

It comes with a five-button hand-held transmitter with which you can turn the gas off or on, and also functions as a thermostat. The display on the transmitter shows the time the current temperature of the room and temperature target, timer setting, status on/off, and low battery indication.

Synching Acumen fireplace remote.

The remote for the fireplace at Acumen comes with two operating modes. These are Timer and auto. Make use of the buttons for up and down to adjust the temperature between 45F and 90F.

Synching.

  • Press and hold the set button for two seconds.
  • Hour display is set to blink. To change the hour, use the up and down buttons.
  • Hit the set button again to set the setting button again. The minute’s display will light up. Use the buttons Up and Down to adjust the number of seconds.
  • Click the set button once more then the F and C displays will flash. Utilize the up and down button to switch the remote transmitter that will display C and F
  • Set the button once more after setting it.

Auto Mode.

  • Set the temperature you want to achieve.
  • The Auto button is pressed for a second time to turn on Auto mode. When the mode is activated, the remote Transmitter will start the fireplace when the temperature of the room is lower than the temperature of the desired level and then shut off the fireplace if the room temperature is over the temperature target.
  • Press the auto-off/on button or the manual On/off button to shut off the flame location (if it’s already lit) and then exit Auto mode.
