How To Tell If iPhone Is Charging

Writer Gabriel Cooper

The long battery life as well as the speed of charging are two of the features iPhone users, like me, enjoy every day. There are a variety of ways the iPhone could be recharged. If your phone is powered in use, you can verify that it’s charged by looking for the icon for the battery.

Know Your Phones Charging When Phone is Power On

  1. Ensure that your iPhone is connected and that the charger is connected to an electrical source, such as an outlet on the wall.
  2. Look for the icon for your battery in your display.
  3. If the icon appears green and has a lightning bar in the middle, your iPhone charges.
  4. If the icon appears either yellow or white or red, it’s not charging.

If you notice that your iPhone isn’t charging at this moment Check the cord’s connections to ensure that everything is working as it should be and there aren’t any problems with the cable. Another suggestion is to look for an alternative power source, but be aware that some outlets can only be powered when the light switches are switched on!

Know your Phones Charging Even When Power Off

  1. Ensure that your iPhone is connected and that the charger is connected to the power source, such as an outlet on the wall.
  2. Make sure you check the battery icon that is located in the middle of your screen.
  3. If the icon shows an empty battery, as shown in the above image, your iPhone has been charging as it is charging and should be powered up soon.
  4. If the icon displays an empty battery and a charger like the one above, your phone isn’t charging, and you might need to check the power cable of your charger and source.

You can clearly see that determining whether or not your iPhone is charging is easy. It’s just one of those things most people wouldn’t even notice unless they knew how to spot it!
