How do you start a Marco gas fireplace?

From the “Off” setting, move the knob to “Pilot”. Push the pilot button, which manually activates the gas supply. In order to keep the igniter lit, press the button once every second. Ignition may take several attempts, depending on how long it has been since the gas fireplace was last used.

Is Temco fireplace still in business?

What is the lever on the right side of my fireplace?

Lever shifts either side to side or up and down depending on the model of fireplace you have. It’s possible that your wood is too green to burn or needs to be split into smaller pieces if your fire won’t stay lit after the gas is turned off, so check that first.

Do you need wood for a gas fireplace?

You don’t need logs to heat a gas fireplace because the heat comes from the burner attached to your gas line. Don’t use wood in your gas fireplace because it wasn’t built for that purpose. Use a ceramic log instead of a traditional log in your fireplace to add extra heat reflection.

Is it OK to leave pilot light on gas fireplace?
