What kind of paint do you use on a tile fireplace?

Decorate Ceramic Tiles by Painting ThemWith regular latex paint, I would have definitely primed this fireplace if I had used Black enamel paint, which does not require a primer. As you can see, I applied a smooth finish with foam rollers. It’s all there!

Do you need special paint for fireplace?
