When on land, Bengal tigers can attack and prey on a variety of quadruped animals. They can attack the prey from the back, front, and any other side.

Bengal tigers kill the animals by grasping them while aiming for their throat. That said, Bengal tigers eat deer, grey langur, water buffaloes, axis deer, sambars, and bison, snakes, and king cobras.
