Insects, Animals, and Fish

Dwarf bunnies tend to be herbivores like their other species of rabbits. Hence, dwarf bunnies don’t eat insects, rodents, mammals, amphibians, or even fish.

That’s just not part of their main staple or considered as a treat. They get their essential nutrients from their staple diet of hay and other plants. After all, they don’t want to fall sick after slurping the insects. That said, you shouldn’t feed them anything other than fresh fruit or veggies growing in the garden.

Dwarf bunnies are fond of consuming a variety of fruit. Hence, dwarf bunnies can eat carrots, bananas, strawberries, watermelon, apples, pumpkin, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and kiwi. And of course, dwarf bunnies eat grapes and apples as well! So feel free to feed them cut-up fruit as your dwarf bunnies can have strawberries included in their diet.

Vegetables

When it comes to veggies, dwarf bunnies devour them all! That said, dwarf bunnies can eat lettuce, arugula, celery, cucumbers, cabbage, eggplant, kale, radishes, spinach, squash, and zucchini. In short, you can feed them such veggies as dwarf bunnies can have radishes and zucchini as well.

Herbs

Dwarf bunnies can eat some herbs with moderation. Dwarf bunnies can eat basil, dill, and rosemary. Don’t be surprised if you find them nibbling on something as dwarf bunnies can eat cardboard as well. And it’s completely harmless!
