Fisher cats can climb and do things that are similar to a cat, however, they are different from cats. Fisher cats are carnivores; they primarily eat meat, insects, and small animals. At the same time, fisher cats will eat some fruits and nuts every now and then. Fisher cats will even eat carrion; they will eat dead or dying animals. Either way, it doesn’t matter to them because they will whatever is available to them at the time.
Fisher cats are said to be shy; they don’t come out a lot and are rarely seen, so you probably aren’t likely to see one unless you go looking for one. Fisher cats can be active at night and during the day as well. However, fisher cats more active at dawn and dusk, which is when they are more likely to be eat as well as be seen. As it pertains to the eating habits of fish cats, they don’t discriminate at all; they will eat just about anything. Some people say that they are carnivores, whereas, other say that they are omnivores. The reason for this is due to the fact that fisher cats will eat meat, insects, animals, and vegetation. However, they prefer to eat the meat of small animals and insects even if they aren’t alive. So, that’s something interesting that you should know about fisher cats.

Fisher cats eat chickens, fish, porcupines, cats, rabbits, foxes, snakes, raccoons, dogs, skunks, birds, beavers, bees, ducks, deer, house cats, small dogs, groundhogs, goats, turkeys, and rats. Also, fisher cats will eat woodchucks, squirrels, possums, chipmunks, and coyotes. Yes, fisher cats can eat corn and bird seed. Fisher cats don’t eat humans, however, there are stories of fisher cats attacking humans; it is rare though. Also, fisher cats will eat trash or whatever foods that you leave in your garbage.
Conclusions
It is common for fisher cats to mistaken for cats, however, they aren’t cats t all. Fisher cats love to eat meat, animals, and insects. Additionally, they will eat some fruits at vegetables. They won’t hesitate tend to eat other foods that aren’t meat.
