Flying foxes are said to be omnivores because they eat plants and meat and sometimes insects for their survival, however, the large flying foxes are said to be herbivores, and they only eat plants and fruits for their survival. They love to eat flowers and nectar. They also eat regional fruits such as figs are their favorite.

There are about 65 species of bats, and they are found on tropical islands, Australia, Indonesia, etc. Flying foxes bats are on mainland Asia, the Indian Ocean, east Africa, the Pacific Ocean, and Australia. They extract nectar from citrus plants such as oranges and lemons. They can eat avocados, limes, and tomatoes, mangoes, etc.

Flying foxes will eat vegetables like spinach, zucchini, lettuce, and live plants like planaria.

Flying foxes don’t eat mosquitoes, aquatic animals like fishes and shrimp. They don’t eat wattle either. Flying foxes like to eat soft and fluffy fruits so they don’t like olives.
