Holland lop is a rabbit breed and it was first recognized in the Netherlands. They have a furry appearance. They are very similar to bulldogs in physical appearance. It weighs about 4 pounds. The average lifespan of a Holland lop is Seven to Ten years, despite other health and accidental scenarios. They need special care, separate rooms for sleeping, feeding, watering, and their litter box. It is a very friendly species. Males tend to be friendlier as compared to female Holland Lops. Their average size is 6 cm when fully stretched. They must be 6 months old when they are bred and when they are ready and aggressive enough to produce their kits.

Plants, Fruits, and Vegetables

Holland lops eat carrots, bananas, spinach, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, celery, arugula, broccoli, baby spinach, cauliflower, cherries, kale, collard greens, grass, lettuce, pineapple, peaches, romaine lettuce, radishes, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers, etc. 

They also feed on oranges but without the peel. They love both sweet and sour cherries. Holland lops also eat fiber and pectin-rich food like asparagus and lettuce.

Holland lops love to eat grass, hay especially wet hay even from the garbage they selectively pick hay. Holland lops eat can eat apples but without seeds and stems because seeds contain a poisonous substance called cyanide.

What Holland Lops can’t eat?

Holland lops eat don’t like to eat grapes, although grapes are not harmful to them they just don’t like them.

Holland lops eat can’t eat potatoes because they can’t digest potatoes as they have a weak gastrointestinal system. They can’t digest cow’s milk. It’s also hard on their digestive system. It clogs their digestive tract
