What Do Lemon Sharks Eat?

Writer Andrew Davis

Lemon sharks are yellow to brown colored large sharks. They are nocturnal hunters and picky in their food. They are 8 to 10 feet in size and weigh around 250 kg. Their yellowish-brown color helps them to camouflage in the sandy water. They have flattened heads, and 2 dorsal fins that are equal in size, normally in other sharks, 1st dorsal fin is larger than the second. Sexual maturity of lemon sharks comes at the age of 12-13 years for that male must be 225 cm in size and female must be 235 cm.
