You can find pill bugs feeding on various plants, fruits, and vegetables.

You should also know that pill bugs feed on many different plants, insects, and animals, especially dead, or decaying matter. Apparently, they love to eat anything that is dead or already dying. In this article, I’ll discuss some of the many different things that pill bugs like to feed on.

Insects do get eaten by pill bugs quite often in addition to the other things that they eat on a regular basis. Pill bugs eat aphids, bugs, ladybugs, ants, spider mites, rolly pollies, worms, snails, termites, other bugs, and dead animals.

Pill bugs eat strawberries, plants, seedlings, basil, carrots, lettuce, leaves, kale, potatoes, grapes, watermelon, tomato plants, squash plants, radishes, roses, seeds, and grass. Also, pill bugs can eat fruits, dandelions, flowers, grass roots, garden plants, hostas, marigolds, live plants, moss, petunias, pepper plants, potato plants, bananas, and cucumber plants.

Pill bugs don’t eat wood. However, pill bugs do eat heavy metals, cardboard, clothes, silk, wool, mercury, mold, cornstarch, paper, zinnias, poop, and vegetable plants.
