Red tail sharks are black colored sharks with red tail and they are also known as Red tail shark minnow, which is a freshwater species of shark. It belongs to the carp family, cyprinid. It has an omnivore diet, which includes both flesh and a bit of herbaceous matter. It can grow up to 16 cm in length. The lifespan of red tailed sharks is around 5 to 8 years.
